We currently have 19 children on International Scholarship. If you would like to sponsor a child at the school for a year or more please write to us. This is very helpful for parents who are unable to afford the school fees and it gives a boost to the children who know that someone in another country is taking an interest in them. The cost for a year for a Nursery or for a Primary child £313/$460 and for a Secondary School child the cost is £490/$715 which includes tuition fees, text and exercise books, uniforms and transport costs. Our children are aged from 18 months to 14 years. We have taken on the Jarrell family all of whom are orphans. There are 23 in the Jarell family and only 4 of these are being sponsored so far at the beginning of May 2009.

The rains were particularly heavy in Autumn 2006 which made the road near to the school like a mud bath. We have dug a drainage channel on one side of the road and made a gutter which has now been been concreted.

In May 2009 we are expecting the River State Government to lay a properly surfaced road from Airport Road to The Queens and Kings School quite soon. This will involve the road being widened and levelled and Latrite being used as a foundation.
In September 2006 we had a White Board installed in every classroom

We have lovely comfy beds for the Pre Nursery children to rest on
